In the left hand menu on the main Javelin screen, you will see a link for Transactions, under Payments.
Clicking on that item will open the transaction search screen.
The transaction search screen can be used to filter out very specific results which you can then use for analysis or troubleshooting etc. as required. The fields you can use for this search are as follows:
1. STATUS: A transaction can have many different statuses depending on the stage of processing it is in, or the result of that processing being complete. The most useful statuses are listed below with brief descriptions:
Authorized: A pre-authorization hold has been put on the user's funds, but that amount has not been captured or released.
Settled: The funds have been successfully captured.
Cancelled: The funds have been successfully released.
Refunded: The settled funds were refunded to the user.
Partially refunded: Some of the settled funds were refunded to the user.
Failed: The transaction could not be created, it was either blocked by the bank or the risk engine.
2. PSP REFERENCE: Every transaction processed by us comes attached with a PSP Reference, which can either be alphanumeric or a 16 digit number. This is the fundamental identifier of a transaction.
3. ORDER ID: This is the ID on your side which connects to the transaction in Javelin. For example, this would be a taxi booking's iCabbi job ID.
4. FRAUD SCORE MIN/MAX: You can set limits to the minimum and maximum fraud score here to filter out a certain set of transactions. For example, if you would like to see how many transactions were blocked by the risk engine, you can set the FRAUD SCORE MIN value to 100.
5. CARD LAST 4: This section can be used to filter transactions only based on the card's last 4 numbers. Not very useful on its own, but helps remove noise when combined with other filters.
6. SHOPPER PHONE/EMAIL: You can enter a user's email or phone number in these fields to filter transactions only related to them. Extremely useful.
7. AMOUNT OVER: This can be used to filter transactions with value over a certain number. Not very useful on its own, but helps remove noise when combined with other filters.
8. MERCHANT REFERENCE: Each transaction comes attached with a merchant reference. In case the PSP reference is unavailable, this can be used as a secondary transaction identifier.
9. FROM DATE/TO DATE: Use this section to filter out the search results for a specific time period.
Under the transaction search section, you will see a chronological list of all transactions, latest first, with some of the general information like user email, fraud score etc. You can click directly on the ID section to open the transaction details screen, or you can click on the eye icon in the right corner to do the same.
You can use the Actions section to quickly cancel an authorized transaction, or refund a settled one and go to the connected order in a separate system, for example a taxi booking in Riide backend.
There are Next and Previous button at the bottom to help you navigate through multiple pages of results.
