In most cases, the transactions complete automatically and you are not required to do anything during the process. In rare cases however, you may want to capture or cancel a transaction manually which is in the Authorized state.

A transaction in Authorized state means that we are holding funds in the user account, but they have neither been captured, nor released. Due to rare technical glitches some transactions may remain in the Authorized state, in which case you will receive an automated email listing such transactions so you can manually decide the next course of action.

1. Capture

If you would like to capture these funds, please go to the transaction details screen, and scroll down until you see a Capture section.

Here you will see how much funds we are holding, and then you can choose any amount to be captured.

2. Cancel

If you would like to release the authorized funds back to the user account, you can do that in two ways:

a. The main transaction search screen:

For a transaction in Authorized state, you will see a Cancel button in the right corner, next to the transaction details eye button. You can use that to cancel the transaction.

b. The transaction details screen:

In the transaction details screen, you will see a Select Action box in the top right corner. You can use the Cancel option in the drop down to the same effect.
